we got a CaxtonFX one a few years ago, been great to be able to use the same card all over

Europe, we can get cash from a cashpoint with it, or just use it like a debit card

Mrs S has an app on her phone she can use for topping it up, or i think she can even do it by text message.

no idea if it's topped up by charging a credit card or debit card though - as the op ups can be pretty instantaneous though i'm guessing it's not through bank transfer - even with the faster ones that are now available as i think it pre-dates them

in fact it's so old you've made me think that we really ought to start shopping round to see if we're still getting a good deal
