Back from the game, and trying to avoid the piss-soaked sheets... thoughts

Yes, frustrating and disappointing, but I agree with SimonOTBC, not a disaster and signs of going in the right direction. Burton were always going to shut up shop and look for the draw after theur trouncing Saturday, so it was down to us to break them down... we just couldn't. It happens. I've been on many similar frustrating nights without scoring, some even included Norwich City! Boom tish, I'm here all week 😉

Superman Stieperman was a positive, as was the clean sheet even if Burton offered nothing of note... all good for confidence. I was also pleased that we didn't resort to hoofing it forward in the last ten minutes, despite the protestations from some around me for most of the game!

Josh had a stinker, disappointing after Saturday and Wes huffed and puffed with no reward. As for Oliveira, I thought the reports on the radio about Portuguese Man O'War floundering was about Cornwall, not a review of his pointless meandering on the wing when we needed him in the centre.

Progress, albeit slow, and a bad day at the office for a few. Onwards and upwards, let's move on and keep faith in the players, management and philosophy.

Now, who'd like a Werthers?
