Was in Mississippi after Katrina

Very strange times. Very hot in the aftermath - and as all the power lines were down, no air-conditioning that you usually have everywhere. The refineries from the gulf that usually served for the gasoline requirements for the south were also all wrecked, so petrol was very hard to come by.

I slept on the floor of my office for about three nights as it had air-con, and I was working on getting the place I was working servicing customers again (was a bank).

I'm glad I went through it once, in retrospect, but I would never like to have to do so again.
