Worked in Japan and it's an everyday occorrence

remember first day sitting in a coffee shop and the cups started shaking and I was the only one who appeared to notice as everyone else carried on as normal. First night there in hotel the room started shaking (I was on my own...) so I ran down to reception in my shorts (funny place to have a reception...) expecting loads of worried people to be about but it was just me the newbie who'd even bothered to get out of bed.

Worked in Porto Rica a couple of years after Hurricane George swept through there in 1998. Remember thinking that our UK storm in '87 was like a fart in the wind looking at the affects still being suffered by the residents. Never experienced it myself and wouldn't want to either.
