Honestly, what is the point? I seem to remember that England in particular were better, or at least no worse, than they are these days when everyone was playing at the weekend and then turning out for the country on Wednesday.

I know there are a myriad of stars from far and wide who need to jet off for games, but in my view that's a price of having the nigh profile stars in a team... tough, get over it.

Does anyone care? Personally I couldn't give a monkeys about the international games or results. Not everyone will agree, but if Norwich aren't playing, I'm not really bothered.
