Interesting day ahead

I wonder whether the strategy is to take this year's parachute money and basically spread it over two seasons. So we're working on the basis we wont go up this year, but can keep whatever remains of the squad after today together for 2 years. This rather than putting everything into promotion this year, and then being forced to sell everything that moves if we don't make it up.
