Novel called Ancillary Justice is where you want to start. I have the sequel (there's a trilogy) but haven't read it yet. It's seemingly quite marmite. Those that like, love; those that don't are left apparently very cold. I *loved* it though. If you know your Banks you'll see why the comparisons are being made. Very Culture.

She has a new one out, separate to the trilogy, next month.
