I haven't read the books and don't remember exactly when it was mentioned, but I'm sure there was talk about Bran being named for Bran the a Builder who built Winterfell or something back in the day. Maybe he built the Wall. Anyway, all the Brans are the same one, it's Bran hefting around through time and he's now jumped into the Night King and is basically like a troublesome version of Quantum Leap. Oh boy!
