if we have to downsize though then I think its understandable to want to get rid of Tettey

he's a reasonable player most of the time, but he has been the main defensive midfielder in front of a very leaky defence for the last couple of seasons, so he's certainly not indispensable. And as one of the big earners, he's not really giving us great value for money if we have to cost-cut. Which is probably why no-one else wants him.
