vmt, the main issue is pretty obvious

and basically revolve around the fact that our defenders aren't very good. But resolving it means offering them loads of support in other areas, which is what Hughton did and is completely incompatible with the new philosophy we're trying to implement.

So do you sacrifice the philosophy, which is the whole point of bringing in Webber and Farke? Or do you sit tight and hope the defenders improve the more they play with each other? And just hope to outscore the opposition in the meantime.
