I use it daily as well and is usually ok, but snarls up VERY quick.

Plus the lights are a liability.
Its a bit daft that 2 very busy dual's are linked by a roundabout, its not really designed for the volume that uses it and that is only going to go up.

Good idea to do it I think, its getting it ready for the higher traffic volumes and improving access around the outskirts of the city.
