I have seen it too, similar reasons.

I'm going to try to avoid spoilers, but I might pop a toe over the line by accident, so this is your warning - snout out if you dunt want spoilers.

I wonder if this season, and this episode of this season in particular, is getting a little bit lazier, and crucially as a consequence a little bit more predictable. Departure away from GRRM's source text maybe - allow the show runners more latitude to do what a regular TV show would. Dunno. I enjoyed it, I just got this fringe sensation of dissatisfaction building, as if I'm not yet dissatisfied, but can see it coming down the road.
