I think the ability to do that last season meant we struggled to take the heat out of some games. However, what you then need is the ability to change the pace or suddenly move the ball swiftly to open teams up and that's what I felt we didn't have yesterday as the side was too one dimensional.
That said if we'd got the opening goal (and we should have had a pen to enable us to do so) then i suspect we would have beaten them quite comfortably as we were playing well up until their goal. As it was, we went behind to a massive hoof down the middle and then it became easier for them to sit back and hit us on the break.
I will be very annoyed if we don't see Wes and Madders back in tandem on Wednesday with Nelson in front of them. That combo will suit our system a lot better.
