would normally say no, but....

I was at the League Cup final in 85. It was a bad season for football what with Heysel and the Bradford fire etc. Plus a fair bit of hooliganism at that time. That final was an oasis of calm in a bad time for the game and the Friendship Cup - which started the following season - was a result of it. So, at the time it was set up with the best intentions and genuine support. However do we care now....well probably not. In some respects that's a pity.
