My guess (and hope) is that his absence last night was the slap on the wrist that was needed, and needed to be seen to have been done... for squad respect. And that Olive will be back for the weekend and a line will be drawn under the whole episode. And Farke willl have been seen to have done what needed to be done in private and not in the media.
