Obvs only speculation but I felt last night was used as a bit of a training game.

There was a lot of play which seemed to me to be under specific instructions - don't shoot unless it's the ideal opportunity, move the ball around in certain patterns etc. Nothing to lose by doing that; match practice in a step up from pre-season atmosphere and a low pressure first home game. A good start on the whole.

Swindon's two set-piece deliveries were excellent, very accurate flat pacy crosses. Both times Smith was the decoy, I think, and that left the headers go in from players defended by Murphy, Reed and Husband. Well worked, not just poorly defended.
