A couple of things (it's a Garmin Edge 520):
Just did a brief ride before the rain really kicks off. The temperature apparently was recorded as between -15 and +15c, which is clearly bollocks. Also it's claiming Norwich is 100m below sea level and allegedly I rode off a cliff and ended up nearly 400m undersea. Why would it do that and have you had similar experiences? How can it be fixed?
Regarding the HRM, this is a more human issue. Normally my heart when doing not very much is beating between 60-70 times a minute. All good. As I wheel the bike out onto the road, boom, 120. No effort being exerted by me. Is this a mental thing, nerves, white coat syndrome? Anyone know?
