which makes a nonsense of the whole service.
It's part of the stupid money bubble - football as "entertainment", packages of "interesting" matches for the non-fan (who far outnumber us lot) - attract huge audiences, sell those audiences to ad agencies both for football and the stuff they watch because they've got your bundle anyway so they might as well.
The people who miss out are us lot, actual fans who for whatever reasons can't get to games so much. I went home and away for quite a long time but can't travel so much at the minute. I'd happily pay what they're asking and more to be able to see all Norwich games at home. I wouldn't really need commentary - I know what I'm looking at - and "OK" picture quality would probably do.
That's never going to be a winning advertising proposition, though.
At some level the clubs need to care more about the actual fans who are their lifeblood. The Sky bubble will burst one day and when it does it's the fanbase which will constitute "what they've got left".
