Optimism

abounds. Usually does around this time of the year.
But I am more optimistic than usual. Getting a better balance to our squad, still need reinforcements in a couple of key positions. New signings looking good, all seem to be really trying for new manager, good feeling of togetherness to the squad. Clearly, we have some emerging top players and certainly have enough talent to challenge for promotion. But probably best of all I think we have found an intelligent, tactically estute manager who will out-perform most of his counterparts. He has a plan B and C, which was something AN lacked, and he isn't afraid to change things around.
Early days, but optimism abounds in this corner of Derbyshire at least.
