I'm a massive tequila fan but depends how much you want to drop

My absolute favourite is grand patron piedra but at around £250 (although master of malt have some on sale at the moment) it is an extravagance.

Don Julio 1942 is really excellent and it should be for just over £100 a bottle (it's £60 a shot in the shard).

Excellencia do a really good reposado and I think the anejo is really good too around £50.

If you want a cheaper (but not chemically) white tequila then patron silver is good.

Other white tequila's Grand patron platinum but you really are paying a lot of the £150+ for the lovely bottle.

Probably my favourite (where again the bottle is a large part of it - beautiful hand painted ceramic gourd) is Grand Mayan. I got some from hedonism wines a while back but basically impossible to get hold of.
