though more often now they put on high-tech gilets or wind jackets, to serve the same purpose. (Works better, I expect, but also helps the manufacturers sell more kit to gullible fools like me.)

But you do still see some riders stuffing things down their jerseys, yes. Will probably be some doing it today.
