Back from the rain and the game

Not much more to add now I've had time to muse on the evening entertainment. Col Mustard summed it all up pretty well last night. However, a couple of thoughts...

Keeper - if we will be playing out from the back in tight positions and using the keeper as part of the passing triangle, we need one who is comfortable and confident... McGovern didn't appear to be as comfortable as Jones on last night's evidence.

Possession Footy - crowd will have to learn patience and be prepared for a few hairy moments when we play the ball around and across the back line... I can foresee some discontent from some as it won't always come off.

New Heroes - early days but Lewis, Vrancic, Reed and Zimmerman look pretty good. Godfrey is still learning but I really like him. This could be Pritchard's and Oliveira's year.
