that it was a good point earned today is correct in the context of a struggling championship team as we are .
However he is not clever enough to realise that he is condemning himself by his own words. It was cetaintly two points lost if we look at it in the other context of the most expensively assembled Championship team that was the previous season playing in the Premiereship and playing against a team which in that season was two leagues below them.
If the players genuinely believe that this was one point gained rather than two lost then they should be ashamed of themselves.
It also shows how modest are Worthington`s expectations of a team that he has assembled and coached and is perhaps the greatest indictment of his performance as a manager not just recently but since the start of the season. This is without taking into account his performance last season. Can this seriously be the man that the Board has faith in to restore our fortunes? If it wasnt so sad it would be laughable.
