Look I'm not saying that Howson is a Norwich fanatic who wanted to stay at all costs

But by the same token I believe the club initially manufactured this move to raise funds. You could argue that's justified given our defensive needs of course but it's not the same as a player demanding a transfer which is what they are now implying.
