Expense of a fee makes this impossible, even a loan unlikely ...

I definitely can't see us paying a transfer fee because of his age. A loan deal looks unlikely because of his wages.
But he won't ever play for Newcastle in the Premier (doubt he would even be named in their 25 man squad), so I guess they will be prepared to loan him out somewhere to at least save a bit on his wages.
