Agree with all this but the other thing we lacked was a solid and settled back 5

Lots of chopping and changing with the two centre halves and also Ruddy v McGovern. Teams that do well nearly always have a very settled defensive unit.

It was understandable why Neil was trying to find the right combinations but hopefully this year Farke can mould a successful and settled defence.
