If we play a different, possession based style I see no reason why a ball player cannot play alongside Tettey. The notion that smaller, lighter midfielders have to play "in the hole" seems to be a very English way of thinking. In Spain such players are often the playmakers with perhaps Xavi or Iniesta being the best examples. It will be interesting to see if Farke tries something similar. I may be wrong but I think Pritchard played as an orthodox central midfielder for Brentford and Wes in fact has played there for Ireland.
