Sad to see him go but looking at it completely objectively it makes good business sense to move on a 29 year old midfielder who is likely to be one of the top 5 earners at the club while we can still get a "considerable" fee.

Especially as it remains to be seen how suited he would even be to how we could be potentially wanting to play.
