It's not nuts it's the truth

I'm not saying that the Tories have been right to retain the cap for as long as they have and you could argue they will only remove it now because the election has forced their hand but this vote was on the queens speech and this amendment was an attempt by Corbyn to bring down the government and not a serious proposal for a public sector pay increase.

It's worked for him as he has been able to use it to further anti government resentment and people just see the headlines and don't understand why that particular agent was never going to be passed even if quite a lot of Tories agreed with the principle.
