I don;t disagree. I would take our attacking players over their any day, I am

merely pointing out that wasting last season could prove very costly because others are catching up. I don't know anything about this specific player to be honest but I do know that the number of teams at this level who can outbid/outpay us is growing and if we are still down here next season we will be right down with the scum in terms of budget constraints.
