One thing he did say which makes sense....

is that for us the Ipswich fixture was indeed "the wrong fixture at the wrong time." To have that b*****d African Nations Cup to contend with plus the introduction of three new players all at once was a potential recipe for disaster on it's own. Add to this Worthy's inexplicable decision to leave Huckerby on the bench in the first half and the rest is history. Small wonder the lad appeared totally p****d off when he did eventually get on!
So, if this is right, we should be getting a half-decent result at Hull today. I am probably totally wrong but I have a sneaking feeling that there are going to be lots of goals with us scoring most of them. An Earnshaw hat-trick would be nice!
