fond memories of some of those, particularly a couple in 77-78

The Stiff live tour was recorded for the LP in late 77. I didn't go but remember seeing Elvis Costello in the Union Bar, trying to ease a croaky voice with whisky.

It was said that Drury enjoyed that gig so much that UEA was the only university on his tour the next summer. I got tickets by accident, came into the Union to play pinball and found the queue. Cracking couple of hours.
