Hate to say it, but I think it's all down to coaching, attitudes, the Premier Lol, and the fact that not enough of the England players are the best players in their club teams (that's what I'd mean by leaders, not the big man at the back who shouts). Team mentality and identity is also massively important and England don't have it (yet) - compare ours to Germany, Spain, Portugal, France and even Wales and Northern Ireland.
