I always wonder that myself. In fact I even see it as blasphemy (haram) because they are

essentially suggesting that either they have the right to overrule Allah's judgment as to who should or shouldn't die (and therefore his decision making is rather flawed) or that Allah is not omnipotent after all needs these plebs to carry out his dirty work.

In either case I would think it's rather disrespectful to their god rather than honouring their god. But hey I'm no religious nutbag so what do I know?
