I don't see why they should fall out if it works like this

Managers get pissed off when they get given players then don't want but that shouldn't happen in this case.

Or they get pissed off when an SD is brought in above them and dilutes their influence.

Plus Farke is used to working in this way. The whole point is to free up his time to focus on the coaching side of things.
