so she did as much as any Home Sec could have done to keep it down. Can never bring immigration down to the levels they pledged, we wont do it whilst outside the EU and it was never possible inside the EU.

Fixation on bringing immigration down was one great weakness in a way and one she is taking it through into Brexit approach, sadly.

Hey, I'm no going to defend the woman nor her policies. But she was a competent Home Sec within the scope of party policy and aims of the time. That is her level though IMO. Not proper PM material.
