Think some people might be missing the point regarding wages....

I don't think it's a case of offloading wages I think it's more to do with age of player/ chances of improving and re sale value.

We are desperately trying to get average age of squad down and senior pros tend to be the ones on healthier contracts!!! I wouldn't be at all surprised to see us sign younger players where the above factors are more positive on similar deals.

It's why we have brought Webber in. Massive overhaul was required the transfer strategy has been non sensical for a few years now.
