I think it's a huge risk to assume they can be replaced by players on much lower wages

I agree one or two more out may be sensible (and preferable if we can find a taker for Naismith) but I would only ship out one of Howson and Dorrans and I'd keep Tettey til his contract runs out as there is no risk of us being stuck with him if we don't get up.

Half an eye on the future is very sensible but bringing the future forward a year is unnecessary even with all this "self funding" b**lovks now being peddled by the club in every interview/article.
