Or are we about where we were financially pre-promotion?

Those many millions will soon be eaten up in inflated transfer fees, wages, overheads etc, just for them to have a remote chance of survival.

Arguably (if he can do it again) he could build a better squad with us that would have a better chance of survival. *If* at the end of next season us and Hudds are swapping places, he will have made a very astute career choice.
