Honestly I think it's a great appointment - brave and imaginative and certainly better than the Perennial Drain Circlers who always get linked with jobs like ours.
As always there *is* an element of risk and if it doesn't work out I'm not going to be on the Board's or Webber's back about it. We should be taking risks like this. For some reason though I think it will work out and he'll be great (until he's not, but that comes to every manager at every club, with only one or two notable exceptions of course).
Obviously, Job One is: Don't Fuck Up The Summer. Hope he's on board sooner rather than later and getting on with that.
