We did the pub quiz in a bar one night despite 6 - 8 pints of Guinness

The quiz master gave us the $5 back at the half time break as we had done so badly. I said that we were slightly drunk but didn't realise how thick we were. He said, "buddy, every other f**ker in here has a f**king PHD from Harvard or is working there because they have one from somewhere else, it's the toughest pub quiz in the US, you never had a chance!"
