At first you think 13 reasons is going to be...

.. another American high school "drama", but as it goes on, you realise that the setting could just as easily be a factory or office. The school setting and use of teens instead of adults is incidental to a very good story and well written plot.

Bates Motel also v good from what I've seen. Wife not fond though so I haven't seen much.
