I've just had two letter from the Secretary of State

charging me 2 x £70 penalty charge notices for using the Dartford tunnel, gadzooks and damnation what is going on here I have a DART charge account, gah and botheration I forgot to update the details on my account when I changed my vairkle. So I runged up and unlike what it says on the letters (you will be charged 70 if you fail to pay the reduced rate in 14 days of £35) when I went through the helpline the woman said if I paid the £2.50 (x2) then the notices would be voided.

Wonder how many people have just stumped up the £35 just to avoid the double charge
