Basically said, and I am paraphrasing enormously, that they are a remarkable and very close-knit squad, who largely manage themselves, wit Troy Deeney as top boy.

It's not that they don't respect managers, it's just they are pretty much able to get on with it and do what they need to do, regardless of who is on the touchline.
