The problem for Huddersfield - they are damned if they do and damned if they don't!

It'll be the same too for Wednesday should they gain promotion and indeed any other Club that hasn't played at the top level in their recent past. In the first year the big temptation is to spend the sudden upsurge of revenue on resolving historical financial issues behind the scenes which usually leaves relatively little for the playing budget - a classic chicken and egg situation which explains why so many promoted Clubs come straight back down again. David Wagner will be well aware of this and may well see City as the more viable option irrespective of tonight's second-leg result. I may be proved totally wrong but I think it's a space well worth watching! (I would be very interested to learn why Mike Walker has drawn the conclusion he has).
