*former* teammate - but i think it's been the Astana link that's put me off Nibbles

on Scarponi - i admit i wouldn't haven't been able to differentiate between him and a number of over Italian riders that have *done well in the Giro but not quite made it in the Tour* over the past 15-ish years (i love the Giro, but it's much harder to follow without Ned and a good highlights show!) and that's a big shame on my part

wish i'd known about the parrot before too
