This is very true

It's not about maximising matchday income from the tickets by maximising yield via a demand curve, it's about building and enthusing a fan base which means hooking the kids in while they're still impressionable. You'll make plenty not just from tickets but from merchandise and other brand extensions over the course of their fandom (yes I hate that word but bear with me).

So I'd charge less for tickets overall but a lot less for da yoof.

Also, 103 year olds should go free.
