a while back borrowed the FiLs rotovator and due to technical probs it wouldn't start so I manhandled the bastard thing up some ramps onto a trailer but it tipped straight on to the old duffers metatarsels. *crunch* 😳

cursory check on his welfare "you ok?" received the response "i think so yes" as he hobbled about a bit so I chalked the soft boggy ground down to preventing a serious injury.

week or so later my wife goes to visit them and in response to her query "how are you?" he replies "I'm alright but my left foot has gone black and I can hardly walk, I must have knocked it in the garden somehow" she then sang like a canary and promptly grassed me up big style.

I'd have gotten away with it if it wasn't for the pesky wife.

Acutely aware that there's some serious incoming with this whole business so I'm surfing the scarse lols while I can.
