You know it really is possible to accept that Hughton failed at Norwich but also accept that he has done an excellent job with teams in the Championship.
The direction of travel with Hughton at Norwich does not need to be debated. we were utterly rudderless and going down.
However, since then, two important things have happened. We have subsequently made a number of very poor decisions at crucial stages, while Hughton has gone on to do a very good job at Brighton.
But NEITHER OF THESE THINGS FOR FUCKS SAKE prove that it was the wrong decision for us to sack Hughton.
Can we not just park this now? Forever? I mean we're just about past Roeder, around 40 years after he left. Could we please just put Hughton to bed?
