This "And Who Would Want The Job?" Argument

Just been reading through some of last nights posts.

Couple of posters who are still in the KTF department are arguing that, if and when we dispense with the managerial services of Nigel Worthington (there, all polite, keeps them happy!) that "no-one" will be interested in the job here.

Is that the best that they can offer?

If there was a managerial vacancy at Norwich, I think they, we, and the Board would be VERY surprised at the number and quality of applicants that the club would receive for the job.

*Basis of good squad.
*Excellent Academy and facilities.
*Board that makes money available as and when neccessary.
* Club with proven Premiership pedigree, past, and the potential to do the same again.
*Very loyal support, 25'000 home attendance, excellent away following.
* Supportive and loyal Board-look at how they have backed and supported the 'previous' Manager-so he'll have time.

...and to suggest that any new Manager would be under pressure from day 1 is ridiculous! I think most of us would, from day 1, accept that he had a long term job to do in rebuilding the squad, confidence, and the way we play our football and we'd all settle for that happening over time, if those objectives were clearly being addressed.

Strange how those that oppose the internet are now using it themselves to make their defence, and all power to them for joining in the discussion, but to base their assumptions upon emotional nonsense (no-one would want the job here) and to accuse the average football supporter of ignorance, well, if that their best argument then its no contest.
